Annis I applaud the club for trying to induce new or get fans to return by reducing the prices for certain games,do you know if there is any chance of the club reducing the price of a season ticket for next season for us season ticket holders? I and my brother have concession tickets in the Ninian Stand and it works out about £15 per game for us, so should they not reduce our season ticket price by say £5 per game that they reduce it for people we might bring. Any idea?

I still don't get how they describe these as deals for loyal fans.

We'll done to the club for trying

But the loyal fans stumped up £350 minimum 6 months ago and will do so again in a couple of months.

As it is with missing 2 games due to holidays it would have been cheaper for me to not have a season ticket due to the amount of deals flying around

What I can say is we have asked the club on numerous occasions to reduce them for next season, they have not said no at this present moment.

Annis

Our director friends could have done worse that had a chat to the late Rick Wright in how to get bums on seats. He was able to think outside of the box, offered supporters and players incentives, was honest about his "I'm out of here" card, backed his manager, got us promoted.............we squeezed nearly 18,000 into the decaying Old Lady in 1993 versus Shrewsbury!

Or Glamorgan back in the day when because of a sensible pricing policy, had the largest cricket membership total in the whole country. Higher than Lancashire or Yorkshire!

Why not take 15% off the current season ticket prices and CHALLENGE the fans. Put a statement out that the prices will set at the lower price BUT....... if Season Ticket sales exceed (whatever figure..15,000?) then the club will sell all further ST sales at 50% of current pricing and reimburse all those that paid the higher price.

It's a numbers game. If we ended up selling 20,000 tickets at 50% of current price, it's the same as 10,000 at full price but they don't trigger the full discount until 15,000 have been sold. And they would have more ST to target merchandising / hospitality to.

No real risk and in any event, when you consider the amount we pay to sign average players who never play, waste £10k per week on their salaries, it's a peanuts risk.

Go sell it to Mehmet, Annis. I don't need any credit..... :ayatollah:
