Some potentially good news for Arsenal fans as Arsene Wenger says he will spend in January if he finds the right player.
"We are in a position where we want to do something," he said today. "If I find the right quality I will do something."

Bristol Rovers forward Nathan Blissett has joined Lincoln City on a one-month loan with a view to a permanent deal.

Just five hours to go until the loan window closes and Leeds have announced the signing of Liam Bridcutt from Sunderland.
The midfielder is Steve Evans’ first addition since taking over at Elland Road and joins until the start of January.
BAYERN RELAXED ON PEP
Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge says the club will cope if Pep Guardiola leaves next summer.
Guardiola’s current deal is up at the end of the season and it is not yet clear if he will renew or look for work elsewhere.
But Rummenigge told Der Spiegel: “It always continues. There is no person in this world who can't be replaced at some point. That's the state of things. Players come, players go, and the same applies to coaches. They come and they go at one point."

Liverpool youngster Will Marsh has joined Sheffield Wednesday on loan until the end of January.
The 19-year-old midfielder has come up through the ranks at Anfield and is now involved with the Under-21 side.

Midfielder Ebby Nelson-Addy has joined Worcester City on loan until January 2 from Hartlepool.

Arsene Wenger was involved in an amusing exchange today about Black Friday bargains and TVs.
In an annual free-for-all, retailers slash prices this Friday on the biggest shopping day of the year. So what does Wenger think of it?
“I love a bargain, who doesn’t love a bargain?" he commented.
“I bought Vieira for £2.5m and it was a bargain. I spent £40m on Ozil and it was a bargain because he is a top player. If I find the right quality I will do something."
But, he added: "Why should anyone buy two TVs if you need only one?”
ROMARINHO HEADS TO JAPAN
In a world far away from Football League loans, Romario’s son Romarinho has joined Japanese side Zweigen Kanazawa.
The 22-year-old has made the switch after failing to establish himself at Vasco da Gama.
DALE MOVE FOR O'SULLIVAN
John O’Sullivan has joined Rochdale on loan from Blackburn Rovers until January 3.
The 22-year-old midfielder has previously been on loan at Southport, Accrington Stanley and Barnsley.

Bradley Wright-Phillips says he has not heard anything about a reported loan move to Bournemouth.
The New York Red Bulls striker told Sky Sports: "If anyone starts scoring, people always go linking them to a team but if I'm being honest I haven't heard anything.
“These kind of things I try not to pay attention to because it really can distract you from doing the job for the club you play for. I've heard rumours but I'm not sure if it's true."
"I don't think about that [a loan move] now, honestly I haven't even thought about that.”
LOAN EXTENSION
KINGSLEY BACK AT LIBERTY
Stephen Kingsley has returned to Swansea after his loan spell with Crewe came to an end.
The 21-year-old made 12 appearances during his time with the League One club.
DUO JOIN WREXHAM

The National League side have signed winger Danny O’Brien on loan from Wigan and defender Taylor McKenzie from Notts County, both until January 2.
NORTHAMPTON TAKEOVER
Some breaking news from Northampton as the club have called a press conference for 3pm today when it’s expected Kelvin Thomas’ takeover will be confirmed.
Thomas is expected to attend and map out his future for the club, along with potential investment in the squad, plus funds to complete the building work on their half-built East Stand.
The purchase of the club from David Cardoza was able to be completed after successful negotiations with Northampton Borough Council and rescheduling of the debt from a £10m loan.
Today’s press conference is also expected to provide details of how the club will pay the £166,000 owed to HMRC – a bill which has to be paid by next Monday.
