Had an email from the club....RE: My City Story

Just wanna say and comment on how much more the club seems to be doing this season for fans compared to a lot of previous seasons. Few months ago they ran the "My City Story" campaign that if you had a great memory from being a Bluebird to send it in and they may use it.

I sent in some pics of my kickabout with Ron Healey when I was a kid and they have emailed to say it's being put on to a banner, pics, quotes from me and some pix from when I came down recently for the boro game. To some it may be nothing but when your exiled 200 miles away it means a lot.

The banners of me and others will be around the concourse of ccs in the near future so apologies for my ugly mug being in your face when u sip your half time beer but u could always look the other way.

All that said it makes me feel very proud of being considered and now being part of that ground and a little part of the club for now and the future and hopefully forever.

Just backs up again what I said at the top of this post about fan involvement this season.

Proud. And I know like many of us my Dad would've been to.
