Play with a tempo and with pace! They play to their strengths! They don't have world class players, but they are effective at what they do! We too have players with pace but instead we play with Whitts who slows the game down to much! Could be better used as a sub!
Derby were not flying and top of the

All played us off the park! A good manager would have set us up to put these teams to the sword! Bristol were awful when they came to us yet we were still piss poor!

So we play with lightening pace and then pass to who ????
Jones, Mason, Revell, Macheda, Doyle, ALF, Pilkington,Noone ?
This mess is about recruitment, recruitment, recruitment, recruitment,
Malky never bought pace, Ole had a scatter gun approach and just bought anybody and Slades hands are tied. This is a 4 year old story.
There is no overall game plan. We have too many expensively salaried players that even Jose Mourihno would struggle to find a system. In Jones, Dikgacoi and Whitts with have little pace or mobility, so I guess the only system i think of would be a 4231 with with Kennedy, Noone on the flanks of the 3 with Ralls as a slightly with drawn advanced CM.
Otherwise, bench these expensively player and play inferior footballer, but players who fit into the 1980's 442 template.

While I totally agree with what u say!
With regards to pace. A forward pacey natural left or right sided winger can take people on, get to the byline and whip in a cross with pace, putting the defence on the back foot! Breaking with pace opens up the opposition!
We can't create anything for our front players as we move the ball too slow! Allowing the opposition time to get back behind the ball in numbers and becoming impossible to break down as we don't have that sort of quality in the middle!

" Russell Slade blames lack of options on strikers "
BBC
22 Nov 2015
Cardiff City had only two shots on target against Derby County
Manager Russell Slade has rued Cardiff City's lack of forward options following their 2-0 defeat at Derby County in the Championship.
Cardiff, who have only scored 17 league goals so far this season, had only two shots on target.
Slade says he is close to signing a striker before the emergency loan window closes on Wednesday.
"We were a bit limited in terms of our options with one or two injuries," Slade said.
"I used all the options possible by bringing Sammy [Ameobi] on and young Matt Kennedy on in the end.
"I'm hoping it [a loan] will be sealed before Wednesday."
Cardiff faced Derby without injured duo Aron Gunnarsson and Anthony Pilkington, but Slade hopes they will be back in contention to face Burnley next Saturday.
Second-half goals from George Thorne and Andreas Weimann secured victory for Derby County, who moved up to fourth in the table.
Despite defeat, Cardiff are only three points of the play-off places in ninth and Slade could not fault his side's efforts against Paul Clement's side.
"In terms of our attitude and work ethic we kept going forward and had a couple of opportunities," Slade added.
"I thought we competed with them really well and created a few chances in the first half, all be it Derby had the lion's share of play.
"Sometimes you've got to put your hands up and we were beaten by, in the end, the better side."
