Still don't care either way if he stays or goes. I don't think he's doing badly with the squad and funds at his disposal but I would rather lose playing good football than the dross we play now. Whoever comes in won't change the situation, good managers didn't want to come here when we were free spending they certainly won't come here when we're skint.

It's the defensively set up outdated 442 dog shit football he's producing week on week that gets on my dandruff. He's not the man for the job, clueless and out of his depth. Stevie f*cking Wonder could see that his brand of football won't get Cardiff anywhere in this division.

His signings are his biggest flaw for me, this is particularly bad seeing as we have hardly any money to spend. The Slade supporters will no doubt say that is not exclusive to Slade and all our managers since the great Dave Jones signed crap players however when you consider that:

- Malky had a big war chest and although he signed some major flops we had the funds to buy two players for each position and rectify any mistakes.

- Ole signed some quality players but for the wrong reasons and he was such a bad manager here he didn't have a clue how to play them.

- Slade on the other hand was given a tight budget and hasn't uncovered any gems. A lot of teams in this league have smaller budgets than ours and continually find good players. As time goes on under Slade and the players he inherited start to move on we will slide down the table because I don't trust him to find better players.

Shearer (who bottled it) apart, can you name anyone that declined to come during the 'free-spending' days? :?

I thought Tan and his team dictated who they wanted, i.e. Malky, Ole and Slade? :?

Not having a go. Just don't recall any other names genuinely being in the frame!

Oh I don't doubt for a second we were a very attractive club to manage after Dave Jones left. Tan was an ambitious owner with a large warchest which I believed Shearer baulked at like you said. We would have been a very attractive club to manage. At this point in time, no pun intended, Tan hadn't shown his true colours.

Then came the whole Malky debacle, before we heard about the racism. Tan seemingly treated Malky like shit, I can't imagine a decent manager would have wanted to come here at the start of January in our season in the prem. We really were car crash football club. It's why the calls for Pulis etc were ridiculous, as if he was going to come here with all that was going on. I highly doubt Ole was Tans first choice, they all say that. As for Slade, well he's about as budget as you can get and a sign of the times for the club.
