ORIENT SIGN QPR DEFENDER

QPR left-back Cole Kpekawa has joined Leyton Orient on a month-long loan deal until December 19.

The 19-year-old made four first-team appearances for the Championship club.

ARSENAL SUFFER AUBAMEYANG BLOW

Arsenal are understood to be interested in signing Borussia Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, claim Bild.

However, the Gabon international says he will not leave the Bundesliga club while team-mate Marco Reus is still at Signal Iduna Park.

VARDY 'HAPPY' AT LEICESTER

Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri is keeping calm on Jamie Vardy's future and says there is no new contract on the table after his striker signed a four-year deal last summer.

"We work around the speculation. Jamie and his agent say he is very happy here," Ranieri said.

"We want to grow up together, and I hope we can continue all together."

KLOPP OPEN TO JAN MOVES

Jurgen Klopp has not made firm plans for the January transfer window but is ready to spend if necessary.

"The January transfer window is not the perfect one because you have no time to train," the Liverpool boss said.

"You pick a player, put him on the pitch and say, 'Come on, show your best performance'. But if we need, we will do [transfers]. No problem."I don't know what will happen in January, if we have more injuries it will be important, of course. But at this moment, there's no decision."

MOURINHO BACKED

Chelsea's technical director Michael Emenalo says Roman Abramovich still backs under-pressure boss Jose Mourinho and feels he can turn their season around.

"When it comes to decisions, we feel confident we have an owner who has a very good track record, who is astute at making decisions of this kind at the right time to get us to where we want to be," he told the Daily Telegraph.

"We are in a position to trust a group of players who have delivered in the last couple of seasons. We are in a position to see there is light at the end of the tunnel and therein lies our confidence, that we can get out of the situation."

FELLAINI URGED TO FIND NEW CHALLENGE

Belgium coach Marc Wilmots has advised Marouane Fellaini to leave Manchester United in January.

Fellaini was a key part of Belgium’s successful Euro 2016 qualification campaign but he has not found opportunities as forthcoming at Old Trafford.

The 28-year-old has started just one Premier League match this season and Wilmots has urged him to find a new challenge in January.

"A player who does not play for his club is annoying for a coach," declared the Belgium boss, speaking to Le Soir.

"Fellaini could play to support the attack, as the No.6. He has very good technique, very good ability to track back and recover. Maybe he will try to find a new challenge in January, if it is possible."

NOLITO: NO CELTA DEAL YET

Celta Vigo forward Nolito has admitted to a stumbling block over his new deal at the club.

Both Barcelona and Arsenal are reportedly interested in the 29-year-old and they are set to be boosted by the news that there are still issues to be resolved before the Spanish international thinks about a new deal with Celta.

“There is a detail that is not resolved and while it is not settled, I will not sign,” he said. “I have a three-and-a-half year contract and a [release] clause of 18 million.”
