And more than just a few.

A section of Turkey’s fans decided to boo the scheduled pre-match minute’s silence before the country’s international friendly match against Greece in Istanbul on Tuesday night.
The two sides played out a forgettable 0-0 draw but the main talking point came before a ball was kicked as loud jeering, whistling and booing was clearly picked up by TV cameras as both sets of players stood solemnly in the centre circle.
The above video, which emerged on Twitter last night, appears to show sections of the crowd inside the Basaksehir Fatih Terim Stadium refusing to honour the 129 victims were killed in last Friday’s horrific events in Paris.

It has been reported they were chanting Allah Akubar.

Apparently they were booing because 100 odd people died in Turkey recently in a terrorist attack and there was no minutes silence, etc.

They were booing a minutes silence the other week for the mainly Kurds that were blown up.!

And that's the way to show their frustration!? Disrespecting those killed in France. That is indefendable. Shocking.

I'm not defending them mate. Just saying that's the explanation I have read for why they were booing.

There have been various reasons for the booing, one being why the rest of the world doesn't have minute silences for Middle East deaths but booing and chanting Allah Akbar is disgraceful.

The fact they defend themselves over the armenian holocaust speaks for itself. A geneocide rarely talked about considering over a million people were slaughtered exactly 100 years ago. A holocaust that some Jewish people claim didnt happen so they get all the limelight.
They house too many absolute scummers to say it is just the minority.
Hopefully they do more stuff like the above during Euros to further destroy their reputation. If it is possible to go any lower.
They should never, EVER be allowed in the EU.
Hopefully England draw them.

That's right just remembered. They've had a few international rows with France haven't they? Completely forgot about that. So they played one of their oldest enemies of whom they've had many wars with centuries and then booed the anthem of a country which they've had a plenty of international rows with.
Again I hope they don't get into EU.

I am quite sure I never seen European sporting teams hold a minute silence this October for the 102 dead 508 injured after IS attacked a rally for peace in Ankara

If we held minute silences for every atrocity carried out by the Turkish government we would be here till new year.
If Turkey wants to join the EU then respect the silence. That is what the people that agreed to the silence believed. That it would look good to the rest of the EU.

But I do agree we did barely anything for it.
In such as dump as Turkey, the centre of Islamic extremism, people protesting for peace is exactly what we should commemorate.
