Burton have dismissed reports of an approach from QPR for manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.

"We have not had an approach from QPR," said Burton chairman Ben Robinson.

"The team and the manager have done fantastically well over the last 12 months and that inevitably means that there will be speculation when job vacancies arise.

"We have not had an approach from QPR and Jimmy remains focussed on two important League One games coming up against Bury and Wigan."

JFH will always be a legend in my eyes. Not just because of what he did at CCFC but also because of how he represents himself in public.

I photographed the Bolton-v-Burton Albion game earlier in the season. A match where the lower side knocked out there more illustrious opponents.

Before the game it was widely reported (at least up here in the NW) that JFH annual salary is the same as what Wayne Rooney earns in 1day - A figure of £40,000 was suggested.

He was asked why?

His response was - "That is what Burton can afford" and "Why do I need any more. I have already earned a enough in football and now do it for the fun of the game".

Very Refreshing... :bluebird:

Yeah some of that money he has earned was on the back of our club. 15k a week from the Riddler and then stung us for more the next year when he reported for pre season training despite us trying to release him.
