Manchester United ‘keeper Victor Valdes is in "advanced talks" over a January move to Espanyol, according to Goal.
The Spain international has made just two Premier League appearances under Louis van Gaal, and is thought to be keen on a return to the city of Barcelona.
HAMZAOGLU LEAVES GALA
Galatasaray have parted company with head coach Hamza Hamzaoglu after a poor start to the season.
Galatasaray are third in the Turkish Super Lig behind rivals Besiktas and Fenerbahce, while they have also made a slow start to their Champions League campaign in Group C.
A statement from the club on Wednesday read: "Mr Hamzaoglu's contract was terminated by mutual agreement. We thank him for his services and wish him success in the future."
NO CHERRIES SPENDING SPREE
Bournemouth will not be going on a spending spree when the transfer window opens despite new investment, says chairman Jeff Mostyn.
US investors Peak6 secured a 25 per cent share of the club last week, but Mostyn does not anticipate any change in the club’s spending total in January.
"They are shareholders and have a lot of expertise but we already had a plan for the January market," Mostyn told BBC Sport.
"Any additional funds we can bring in shares the burden but the total we are looking at will remain the same."
TURNER JOINS COV ON LOAN
Coventry City have confirmed the loan signing of defender Ben Turner from Cardiff City.
The 27-year-old, who came through the Coventry academy, has joined on an emergency loan until January 3, 2016.
ALLARDYCE WANTS CARROLL
Sam Allardyce wants to make Andy Carroll his first signing as Sunderland manager, reports Goal.
West Ham will reportedly consider offers for the striker, who has recently returned to the team after injury. Carroll played under Allardyce at West Ham, and could be open to a move back to the north east.
IZZO TARGETED BY ARSENAL
Genoa defender Armando Izzo is a transfer target for Arsenal, according to Il Secolo XIX.
The report suggests Benfica are also keeping tabs on the 23-year-old, but it is the Gunners who reportedly lead the chase for his signature.
LIVERPOOL MISSED OUT ON ALLI
Liverpool missed out on boyhood fan Dele Alli because members of the club's transfer committee were unsure if he represented value for money.
Alli joined Tottenham for an initial fee of £5m from MK Dons in the summer but, according to the Liverpool Echo, the Reds had also been scouting the player with a view to taking him to Anfield.
The 19-year-old has been in fine form for Spurs this term and put in a man-of-the-match display as he scored on his full international debut against France on Tuesday.
WOODS SIGNS NEW DEAL
Preston North End defender Calum Woods has signed a new contract at Deepdale.
The new deal will keep him at the club until at least the end of the 2017/18 season.

DE GUZMAN NEARS CHERRIES SWITCH
Napoli midfielder Jonathan De Guzman is edging closer to a move to Bournemouth in the January transfer window, according to reports in the Italian media.
The Cherries tried to sign the Netherlands international in the summer, only for the 28-year-old to turn them down.
But with De Guzman not currently in the Serie A club's starting line-up, it is understood he is now pondering a move to Dean Court.
HONDA COMMITTED TO MILAN
Keisuke Honda insists he will stay and fight for his place at AC Milan amid reported interest from the Premier League.
"I will tell you one thing clearly: I won't leave Milan of my own accord," he told Japan's Nikkan Sports newspaper. "I came to Milan with unshakeable determination and unless they tell me they don't want me, I'm going nowhere. I won't run away.
"It's more difficult than I imagined it would be at Milan, but of course I won't give up.
"Of course I have to accept my disappointing performances, but I have confidence of fighting back. I know it will be difficult to win back my place but I haven't given up."
UNITED IN FOR LOS CHE WINGER
Man Utd have joined the race to sign Valencia wide man Sofiane Feghouli, according to reports on Calciomercato.com.
However, the Red Devils will need to beat Inter Milan to the Algeria international's signature.
Feghouli, 25, has a contract at the Mestalla until June 2016 and so will be available on a free next summer.
HOWE: NO EXTRA CASH
Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe does not expect to get any additional money to strengthen his squad in January .
The Premier League newcomers announced last week that the new Chicago-based board members had made a "long-term commitment", but Howe does not expect to see any of the cash.
"We're not going to over react. It's not my way and it's not the club's way. If we can add one or two bits to make them stronger then great, but there is no magic wand," he said.
"I don't think that any fresh investment is going to come our way. Plans have been in place for a long time for what we do and what we have to play with so this is just good news for the long term of the club, we have another investor, we have other powerful minds to add to Max Demin (owner).
"I don't think we need to do anything drastic, we need to make good decisions if any."
