' I Want To Help The Club - Turner '
Coventry City loanee Ben Turner has said that he is delighted to be back at the Sky Blues and wants to help City in their push for promotion.
Turner told Keiran Crowley: "I want to help the club, I'm grateful for the times I've had before and I'm desperate to play games.
"It's easy to say, but the Coventry City score is always the next game I look for ever since I left. I still have friends in the city and the manager is doing a fantastic job. I really want to do well, play some games and help the club.
"I can't wait to get out onto the training pitches."

I ain't coming back.
I believe his contract is up this season, probaly on a good whack, and we need to get one of the two youngsters cloer to the first team squad.
Much better defender than Morrison, but we are stuck with him.

A good move for all parties provided we have an instant recall clause

If Tony Mowbray had any nagging reservations about bringing Ben Turner back to the Sky Blues they were swept away at Ryton on Thursday morning when the Cardiff centre-back turned out for his first training session.
“It was pouring down, blowing a gale,” laughed the City boss, “and some of the other lads have got four Kagools, a big woolly hat and gloves while he’s wearing the bare necessities – short-sleeved shirt, short socks.
“There were no over-tops or under-skins, no tracky bottoms, no hats or gloves. It was ‘here I am – Ben Turner, ready for action, if required..
“That epitomised what he’s about. He’s here to play football, to get his fitness up, try to prove to Cardiff City that he’s ready to compete for their team in the Championship and in the short term he can help us to sustain our position and keep pushing on.
“Having managed teams who have played against Ben I know he’s a big strong lad so the physicality of the league won’t be a problem for him. He brings knowledge as well – he’s played in a team that’s won the Championship and he’s got a feeling for the club having grown up here.
