Updated
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=144783
Ben Turner today went out on loan to Coventry City.
A short-term loan deal with the Sky Blues in time to make his Ricoh Arena return in Saturday’s top-of-the-table clash with Gillingham.
It is understood that City boss Tony Mowbray has spoken to his opposite number Russell Slade and the 27-year-old defender, both were keen to complete the move in order to further his return from a serious ankle injury.

Yes he is.
He hasn't left yet and nothing official has been said on this, it's a rumour started by the Coventry Telegraph.
The latest they are saying is that he'll have an hour tonight and if he comes through that he will go to them for a few weeks.
Whether this is true we'll have to wait and see.

I see Ben Turner has been sent on loan to City Under-21'S tonight!

Turner has been subbed after 63 minutes so looks like either a good guess by the Cov Telegraph or there is some legs to the rumour

The deal was done today and agreed that once this game was played and he played some part of it, he would join Coventry on loan

The Cardiff City centre-half played 63 minutes in the Bluebirds' 1-0 loss to West Bromwich Bromwich Albion’s development side tonight.
As long as he came through unscathed Turner will complete a short-term loan deal with the Sky Blues in time to make his Ricoh Arena return in Saturday’s top-of-the-table clash with Gillingham.
It is understood that City boss Tony Mowbray has spoken to his opposite number Russell Slade and the 27-year-old defender, both of whom are keen to complete the move in order to further his return from a serious ankle injury.
Part of Turner’s rehabilitation schedule is believed to include a number of Under-21 games before stepping up to gain competitive first team football on loan.
It is believed that everything is agreed in principle for Turner to join Coventry tomorrow or on Thursday, depending on how quickly the paperwork can be processed.

Good move for all concerned TBH. Ben Turner can regain 'match fitness' and come back ready for first team action, should he be required

Will benefit Turner and us. Hope it stays short term. A fully fit Ben Turner makes us stronger.

Official club just announced it

I'd rather Turner in than Morrison, although Morrison distribution is slightly better his pace and positioning have let him down a few times this year. Although I can't be too harsh as our defence has been pretty solid.

Confirmed by City that he's going until Jan 3rd.
I can sort of see the reasoning behind it, but we are short of cover at centre half and I would rather he stayed.

Can't see him coming back.....Maybe a small fee and a decent chunk of reduced wages.

Good luck to him

Our defence is doing okay at the moment. But, hope he comes back! Very good defender for us.

Ben Turner on re-signing for City
Coventry City loanee Ben Turner has said that he is delighted to be back at the Sky Blues and wants to help City in their push for promotion.
Turner told Keiran Crowley: "I want to help the club, I'm grateful for the times I've had before and I'm desperate to play games.
"It's easy to say, but the City score is always the next game I look for ever since I left. I still have friends in the city and the manager is doing a fantastic job. I really want to do well, play some games and help the club.
