Agree completely he is still a player after all and a good one with a career that has been shortened in football terms by a vast amount, I do hope he makes it back sometime this season although I have rarely seen a player come back the same after the injury.

I think they're expecting him to be thier engine in the middle next season- sounds like he's ready for the scrap yard.......

It's a shame really, never as good as the Gypos said he was but still a tidy championship player. After all these set backs he was never going to be the same player. Best for him would be to take his time with his recovery and maybe try back at a lower level in Europe where the pace is slower.

I don't think Paulo is banking on Ferrie playing a big part in next season as we don't know how his knee will react yet. But there's hope as players have come back from these type of injuries. Ronaldo broke down 3 times and Van Nostrelboy twice.

'Paulo' is probably more interested in the fitness of Steve Howard, Matt Fryatt and Andy King

Ronaldo and Ruud Van Man both repeatedly broke down when tackled.

Bodde broke down in non-contact situations.

He's fucked.
