It's ok if your bidding on something with a low start price and no reserve, I had a set of 20inch Range rover alloys with brand new Goodyear on for my wifes T5 for £350 only bidder.
If I'm selling I try gumtree or Bridgend buy and sell, most stuff goes and you don't have to bother about posting.
Ebays crap to how it was a couple of years back.

Ebay can be a pain in the arse. Crazy fees and then you get stiffed by Paypal is your selling. Paypal was bought by Ebay, as was Gumtree, so they've got all bases covered. Used to be good but got too greedy.

Fees for pictures, final listing fees.. then a fee if your item sells.. you make f**k all. Having to send everything recorded because Ebay always sides with the buyer if they try to pull a fast one saying they never had the item and get their cash back plus the item. Not worth the hassle.

My Mums an avid bootsaler, buys stuff then flogs in on Ebay, she's been doing it about 14 years and has now had enough, fees, costs, postal shit, she cant be arsed anymore, she used to be able to make about £400 a week and now can barely make £150 if lucky.

Great for Buyers But Shit for sellers - Ebay and paypal is all for the buyer.
Most are good people but you always get the odd rip off merchant both buying and selling.
Bloooobirds Forever !!!

I had someone claim they hadn't had the item before they should have received it then claim they still hadn't after the due date! Sent 400 items and first dispute, sent it again as it was only £2 and they raised a dispute! There are some C@@ts out there!
You can't keep tracking as its yet another fee. It is hard enough to make money as it is with all of the many fees!

Yeah I agree. I think the high postage and fees have killed eBay now, can't get the bargains that you could back when it was first around!
