Championship high-flyers Brighton & Hove Albion are believed to be keeping close tabs on Hibernian’s prolific striker Jason Cummings, other clubs including Cardiff and Fulham are also believed to be interested in him.

15/11/15

The talented 20-year-old has been attracting interest from several clubs south of the border having netted an impressive 22 goals from his last 31 games and at the weekend grabbed a goal for Scotland Under-21’s against Ukraine.

Hibernian boss Alan Stubbs has made no secret of his desire to keep Cummings at Easter Road, but would be powerless to prevent a move should a big-money offer arrive.

Brighton see Cummings as an ideal player to help join their promotion push, but are believed to face stiff competition from several other clubs including Cardiff and Fulham. Premier League Bournemouth are also believed to be monitoring the situation.

BRIGHTON have joined a host of English clubs chasing Hibs and Scotland U21 ace Jason Cummings.

The joint-leaders of the Championship are keen on the red-hot striker, along with Cardiff City, Fulham and Rotherham. Premier League outfit Bournemouth have also watched Cummings.

The 20-year-old is in terrific form for club and country. He’s netted 22 goals in his last 31 games for Hibs and was on the scoresheet for Scotland
Under-21s against Ukraine on Friday night.

Cummings has
18 months left on his Easter Road
contract and gaffer Alan Stubbs wants to keep him.

But his exploits have alerted clubs down south and most of them were represented at the Under-21 game in Paisley.

I'd welcome a few young, hungry, athletic players. No chance we can get him though with those other teams interested. That is, if he leaves at all.

Doubt it considering his goal scoring form.

Can't see this working out well hardly any that come down from Scotland work out anyway look at Middlesbrough when they got relegated and signed every player with a big name in the SPL including the 2 consistent top scorers Kris Boyd and Scott Mcdonald what a load of good that did them almost relegated them from the championship because they couldn't score

Let's ignore the tons of success Scottish players have had down south and focus on a few recent flops then

Super kev? Marshall? Naismith? All in their 30s now and a long time since they where in that league whereas Middlesbrough consisted of most of the big SPL names and all flopped big time the SPL has been in fast decline over recent times and platers that left that league about 10 years ago don't mean it still produces good players they had 2 decent teams back then and actually got into group stages of champions league football the ones that mock my comments need to take a step back and watch the game as it is now rather than 10 years ago

perhaps not. but someone consistently in a decent premier league squad is ok with me

There are plenty of flops you could have focused on, i wouldn't have picked Naismith
