Turns out at least one of the attackers in Paris was a refugee from Syria who passed through Greece in October. I applaud our government for only taking in people from Syria itself and vetting properly all those we are giving refuge too.
Where are the lefty liberal shit bags who yelled "RACIST" at all those who warned people of this happening? Are you still holding refugees welcome placards now?

As many on here know, I'm a Labour voter and despise the Tories.
But yeah, you have a point here if I'm honest.

Completely agree. He's done well on pushing back on these PC correct EU migrant quotas that were no doubt heavily influenced by the fruitloop that is Merkel, who in trying her level best to ruin her own country, is going to ruin Europe with her open door policy. Poland have now stated that based on yesterday's cowardly atrocities in Paris, that they are not accepting the imposed EU migrant quotas. Norway have sent a social message to migrants saying don't bother coming, its not benefit heaven. These uber-muslim nutters simply want exterminate us whilst even 'moderate' Muslims want to take over. The majority that are here are only here for the quality of life and freedoms that their native countries don't have & they don't even like being here, its just for what they can get. I'd build a ring of steel around all of of these medieval mentalist countries and just let them get on with wiping each other out. Happy Christmas.

Have to agree but it sticks in the throat to do so.
We saw a few weeks ago gangs of migrants storming the channel tunnel shouting "let us in we are not animals"
Sorry after yesterday the evidence is there to show at least some of you are. We must be bonkers to even contemplate taking more un-vetted people from the middle east.
And the next Judge who lets a potential terrorist stay in this country on the grounds of human rights, should be made to bleeding live next door to them rather than dumping the problem on everyone else.

Still not enough. There's sleeper cells all over Europe waiting to be activated. The only solution to this problem now is to close the European borders and secure European interests by force i.e. collective EU military effort and to enforce a situation of a complete police state across the region doing checks on everyone for a period before normal service resumes.

In the Middle East they are backwards in there ideology they are backwards in every way and they should stay there.

How sure are people that one of these passed through as a refugee?

Passport and fingerprints of at least one and now probably two of the suicide bombers matched a refugee who passed through Leros, a Greek island in October.
To be fair to ISIS, they gave us a prior warning that they would be doing this and we didn't listen to them.

i am so glad Labour are not in charge at this present time.

Paris attacks: 'Three teams' involved - prosecutor Molins
The investigation
Mr Molins also gave details about the state of the investigation, which he said was at a very early stage.
He said police were focusing on two vehicles. One was a black Seat used by gunmen at two of the attacks and still untraced.
The other is a black Volkswagen Polo with Belgian registration plates found at the concert venue that was targeted.
He said this had been rented by a Frenchman living in Belgium.
He was identified while driving another vehicle in a spot check by police on Saturday morning as he crossed into Belgium with two passengers.
The BBC's Hugh Schofield in Paris says investigators are working on the theory that these three may be another team of attackers who managed to flee the scene.
A Syrian passport was found next to the body of one of three suicide bombers who struck near the Stade de France stadium during Friday's game, Mr Molins confirmed.
A Greek minister says the passport belonged to a Syrian refugee who had passed through the island of Leros. An Egyptian passport has also been linked to the attacks.

Paul, see Norms post. Been widely reported via a number of news sources.

Sorry to sound like a non believer. But is there 100% proof that the passprt belonged to one of the bombers?
Only reason i ask is because it would be something people target, much like those photos on facebook of is members posing as refugees that turned out to be fake

I agree but would also say that the EU should suspend the Schengen agreement which gives people within mainland Europe the right to move freely across member states borders. What started as a simple agreement between the 3 Benelux Countries has now been extended across virtually all EU countries and at the moment only serves to make the movement of terrorist cell across Eurpoe easier.
Each and every border crossing across Europe should be closed even if that means placing military vehicles like tanks across motorways until each and every person or vehicle, including contents of vehicles, have been checked by the military. It will cost a fortune but you cannot put a cost a innocent peoples lives.
Angela Merkel has opened the door to god knows how many terrorists with her open door policy to everyone claiming refugee status and the prospect of countless terrorists holding Schengen visa's and the freedom of movement that gives them is a frightening prospect.
Like the original poster says David Cameron has got this refugee policy absolutely right and I say thank god he is in charge right now.

I don't agree with this government taking any Islamic refugees from Syria! These are Arabs, and there are enough countries in that region to take them! Also 20,000 Arab refugees become 100,000 in 15 years and a million within 30 years, this is just on their birth rates alone. People are not thinking this through at all. We have enough problems in this country already with this religion and adding to it is not the solution! We are truly building our own funeral pyres.
