Alex Revell starts today for Wigan at Rochdale
This in my opinion is Revells level

He's having a decent game according to Sky News reports, Annis

I followed the game and I was impressed with Gary Caldwell's management. As soon as they went 2-0, he takes off Craig Davies, a striker and puts on Don Cowie to go 4-5-1 to jam it up. The result finished 2-0, so it seems the change by Caldwell locked the game up as planned. Hopefully, Revell had a good game.

Ross, he's quite a good manager, they will prob go up.

It's his first season at management isn't it? He's been backed to bring in his own players and they're starting to put a run of results together. Good luck to him.

Nigel Harris on Twitter
Just read the numerous official Wigan tweets of their 2-0 win at Rochdale. Not 1 mention of Revell, why am I not surprised? and he's match fit

he's be a decent player in that league but not championship for me. Good attitude and work rate tho can't fault him

I'm actually surprised we loaned him to Wigan given how disgusted our board and owner were with Wigan 9 months ago

He never was going to be anymore than a 3rd division striker, so what's the big fuss? We've always known he's been a third division striker

On what do you base that mate? It's his first season.

Would you like him here?

It's still Whelan's club though.
He stepped down because he had to, but he'll still be pulling the strings, no doubt about that

His son is running the club now isn't he? Like you say, it's just a name listed as the owner, but Dave Whelan is still the person really putting the money in and running Wigan Football Club.
