AT LEAST 128 PEOPLE KILLED " Gunmen open fire in Paris "

Fri Nov 13, 2015 9:35 pm

The near-simultaneous attacks in Paris that killed at least 128 people were an "act of war" organised by the Islamic State (IS) militant group, French President Francois Hollande says.
He said the attacks, carried out by eight gunmen and suicide bombers, were "organised and planned from outside".
The targets included bars, restaurants, a concert and a high-profile football match. IS claimed the attacks.
Mr Hollande has declared three days of national mourning

128 Dead and 99 Critical in Paris
Seven were suicide bombers.

OVER 120 KILLED
France has declared a national state of emergency and tightened borders after at least 120 people were killed in a night of gun and bomb attacks in Paris.
Eighty people were reported killed after gunmen burst into the Bataclan concert hall and took hostages before security forces stormed the hall.
People were shot dead at restaurants and bars at five other sites in Paris. Eight attackers are reported killed.
These are the deadliest attacks in Europe since the 2004 Madrid bombings.

UPDATED 23.54pm 13/11/15

France has declared a national state of emergency and has closed its borders after at least 40 people were killed in multiple gun and bomb attacks in Paris.
At least 15 people were killed near the Bataclan arts centre, where up to 60 people are being held hostage.
Explosions and gunfire are being reported as police storm the venue.
Three people were killed in an attack near the Stade de France, with some reports suggesting a suicide blast.
Paris residents have been asked to stay indoors and military personnel are being deployed across Paris.

Gunmen have opened fire in several places in the French capital, Paris, causing several casualties, French media report.

At least one man opened fire with an automatic gun at the Cambodge restaurant in the 11th district.

Liberation newspaper reports four deaths. It also reports shootings near the Bataclan arts centre.

An explosion is also reported to have targeted a bar near Stade de France, where France were hosting Germany.

Reports say President Francois Hollande was watching the match and has been evacuated.

A BBC journalist at the Cambodge restaurant says he can see 10 people on the road either dead or seriously injured.

He says police have now arrived.

Shooting is said to be continuing.

Makes you think what with everything that's gone on in France in the last 18 months or so, terrorists targeting the Euros is a major worry.

What frustrates me is that the governments will come out now and say these people were on the radar, it seems like they are already watching so many but until they actually commit an offence they're powerless! We're not safe in the UK, the difference is being separated from mainland Europe I'd imagine it's a lot harder to get the weapons here like they do everywhere else!

you do have to wonder how Isis managed to become such a force in such little time, what happened to the Taliban are we no longer a target to them?

It'll be easy for the terrorists in France to smuggle guns in ,Surrounded by country's with plenty of guns. Let's hope the security forces get in and sort them out before any other innocent people get killed. I'd be surprised if these terrorists somehow don't have links to British terrorists.

I may be wrong but I think it'll be a Muslim thing.

Paris tonight is just the start of turning a blind eye to the thousands calling themselves 'refugees' who are coming into Europe every day.

Clearly a coordinated attack.

Think it would be much tougher to carry out such an attack here though with us being an island, cctv everywhere plus the government announcing they are monitoring everyone on the Internet and CGHQ listening in on phone calls.

Also the UK is so lucky that's it's an island as its easier to police. Our security services are doing a fantastic job

Yup. Hardly anywhere to hide. So if a terrorists managed to get hold of fire arms, you'd expect him/her to fight to the death.

I actually feel safe in the UK. More worried about Russia building nuclear armed torpedoes.

Go away with your left and right shit.

Nothing can stop an attack like this.

If NATO is actually real and not a load of hot air, then they should do something instead of "standing with france".

Agreed. But it can be prevented. With great difficulties of course. Again, I'm not over the moon about government basically watching us all, it does prevent a lot of attacks.

Sorry if you don't like it but this is the start of it from Europe taking in the so-called 'refugees'

Well weve got millions of muslims already living here. Peacefully.

That ship has sailed.

And to think this is due to the immigrant crisis is laughable.

I agree we need to have tighter borders.

But this attack will never be stopped.

Of course, you don't actually know who carried out these attacks do you?
Remember that for the 7/7 attacks in London the attackers were British born and for the attacks on Charlie Hebdo in Paris at the start of this year the attackers were French born.
So until there is some actual evidence that points to who has carried this out, can we please shut the hell up about refugees and left v right etc etc.

Muslims are the problem full stop the people on here who say otherwise condemn their children and grandchildren to an uncertain future .Wake up, the peace loving Muslims want to take over, there will be similar attacks in London soon, in shopping centres, et al. Cardiff is also a prime target we have kow towed to these pricks for too long.

But they went to fight in Syria and then returned to France. Anyone who goes to Syria should have their passport ripped up

Letting them in in the first place would stop attacks like this. To suggest otherwise is incredibly moronic.
