Cardiff City fans have made it clear David Marshall MUST stay at the club after he topped a WalesOnline poll as the Bluebirds’ most valuable asset.
Must not be sold
1 Marshall
2 Fabio
3 Ralls
4 Manga
Must be sold
1 Revell
2 O'Keefe
3 Tamas
4 Macheda

More than 2,000 Bluebirds supporters took part in our ‘Keep or Sell’ survey, where we asked you to deliver a verdict on which Cardiff players should be transferred when the January window opens... and who should definitely stay.
Goalkeeper and captain Marshall was named as the player the fans most want the club to keep as the Bluebirds seek promotion to the Premier League.
He was closely followed by Brazilian full-back and fans’ favourite Fabio, young midfielder Joe Ralls and big defender Bruno Manga, who has barely featured this season.
On the flip side, Russell Slade’s striker capture Alex Revell topped the ‘must sell’ poll. He was followed by two other Slade signings, Stuart O’Keefe and Gabriel Tamas, as well as former Manchester United front-man Federico Macheda.

Can't fault the poll and I wouldn't be too upset if it was reflected in the January window.
Normally if a player has an opportunity to move to another club and the fee is acceptable I wouldn't want to stand in the players way.
However, David Marshall is so vital to our side it doesn't take a genius to work out the effect if he left in January. Considering the player seems not that bothered about moving on I would hope the management would persuade him to stay until the summer.

I'd keep Macheda, only of the only natural goal scorers we have.
if he'd have had half of Mason's chance's he would have burred them.
But he does need a kick up the back side though

Not too sure about Macheda. The jury is still out on him, IF they can ever get him fit!
Saw some positive things when he was in full flow and he may yet still be an asset to the club!
Tamas we simply don't know about, so that may be a little harsh
The other two? Yes, better to release, as they have no chance of 'improving' the side
What matters most is the manager starting to 'try' players who 'might' make a difference. The fans won't have a 'pop' at him for that, I'm sure!

Another nonsense poll with predictable answers. No one knows enough about okeefe to decide if he should be sold. He will get his chance.

WOL reflected on a review about slade out saying 'after just ten minutes 90% of the vote was against slade' or something along those lines meaning that less people had voted so the results had even less significance. Just manipulating these polls to stir up whatever they can to sell papers.

I agree, 2000? that is about 20% of our season ticket holders! absolute rubbish.
I can't be bothered doing these polls as i have no interest in the Eggo.
I wonder how many people feel the same as me and have a different view of our team?

Anyone who wants David Marshall to go for the money is deluded.
He is the best goalkeeper in the Championship and proved he was good enough in the Premiership.
