It's unlikely players will criticise anything if they're being looking after; they won't want to rock the boat. I'd take their comments with a pinch of salt.

When you get btwn 5-20000 per week whether you perform great or crap, then you can expect criticism

If you performed crap and didn't get paid then people could relate to that
