Best time is without doubt when we are winning but not on a heavy pitch when we were told a few days earlier he would have a game behind closed doors over international break. Terrible decision puts him back further. Wasn't ready.

The fact is this - he broke down not so long ago and has broken down again. Who is to say it won't happen again in January? Probably another dud we have signed. In the meantime, what happens if/when Jones or Mason are injured? If Slade then says it will be like a new signing in January and we don't get another attacker in, how do we know he don't break down in January. Then down to bare bones again. Oh wait!
