i have a video which i want to edit ,i have copied it from my laptop and i can play it on my tv through my blueray recorder but it wont let me copy it to my blueray hard disc. the discs are ntsc im thinking they need to be converted but my copier doesnt convert just copy can anyone help please ???

A few questions.......
When you say you can play it on your bluray, is it on a bluray disc, dvd or a media file on a stick.
What format is the video in.
Are you trying to copy it to a disc or a hard drive.

The video is ntsc I have copied it to a blank disc which plays through my blue ray recorder it is a normal blank dvd but it wont let me copy to my blueray hard disc

If it's been recorded as a proper DVD then the videos will be in the .VOB format and will not copy across unless they are removed from their DVD File System (Don't ask).
You could stick the DVD into a PC extract the .VOB's to your hard drive and then copy them onto another blank DVD or USB stick. They will not play on the Bluray then but may copy across.
You need to find out what format the video is in. What Bluray player do you have,

the format is in ntsc and my blueray is panasonic if anyone is interested in trying to convert i can send copies of them to try their is some good stuff on them

Warebluebirds I have downloaded the programme but when it reads my disc I cant see ntsc to pal only the other way .

Freemake video converter, download your dvd on to your computer, the use freemake to convert it to avi or dvd
