Just a quick one lads, my Daughter is coming up to her 4th birthday and has been banging on about getting a fish, i've bought a small tank, and decorated it with tank figurines such as little mermaid, trouble is she don't want a goldfish, she wants 2 fishes that are pink as that's her favourite colour so I need to find a fish with a colour as close to pink as possible, anyone know of any ? or would I be best popping into pets at home to find out.

Thats a tough one mate, i find the stranger the colour the harder to keep alive, try Angel fish, there is deffo a pink variety, but need a pump and and heater for the tank, then you have to keep the water balanced etc.

Have you tried looking for pink fancy dress costumes that have been designed specifically for goldfish?
In all seriousness though, have a gander on google. You can find anything on there!

This /\ although they are tropical and will need a heater. They are easy to keep and visually pretty but two will need a minimum 2ft tank as they can grow to about 3-4 inches.

Iv got 2 pink Kissing Gouramis. Just need to keep filter clean and watch temperatures of heater.
Would also need to do a water cycle which takes around a week just to plan in advance before putting any fish in.
To save on water cycle you could take water out of someone elses tank if you know of anyone else that got fish.
Also got plenty of others in same tank. A red tailed shark, lots of Guppies (Be wary these breed worse than rabbits), and 3 albino corys to clean bottom of tank.
I only started last Christmas but do enjoy it. Keep mine in dining room. Supposed to help with stress hence why their in surgery's and places where there's a wait such as takeaways

Thank to everyone, really appreciate this, it's only a small tank but I do like fish and the idea of a larger tank in my living room with a lot of tropical fish is something i'm keen on.
