that's what i thought  Kennedy should be in around the first team after his performance's last season.Slade just doesn't know how to treat his players

I was at the game today doing some work. Turner's fault for the first Barnsley goal for a terrible pass back to the goalkeeper, he scored a lovely disallowed headed goal though. Matty Kennedy ran the game in a poor Cardiff side, he's clearly too good for the U21's but his attitude seems to stink at the minute (understandably I guess). I wouldn't say he's good enough to start for the first team, not a chance.

Slade was also watching from the stand at Leckwith. :thumbright:

Trust me if you watched the game today you'd understand why Slade's not picking him.

That's interesting to read, Jon. A lot of 'assumption' on why certain players are not in the team, but I guess Russell Slade knows them (and maybe their mentalities) best

Definitely, the majority of fans don't see what goes on behind the scenes in the training sessions or even development matches.

Fans are calling out for Cardiff City youngsters or even fringe players like Kennedy to play and using that as reason for Slade to be sacked, which is madness. What I saw (and Slade saw) yesterday was dreadful and he rightfully won't be picking anyone from that development side any time soon. It was good to see Turner playing football again though.

Signing French cast-offs to play in the development squad is a waste of everyone's time. There is no way Blaise will make it, just taking up a squad number from an academy graduate
