' Peter Whittingham? / Idriss Saadi? '

' Peter Whittingham '

Does he bring Peter Whittingham back in at Derby? Who knows!

With Joe Ralls charging forward from central midfield and delivering two excellent set-pieces, Slade has a tough decision to make.

' Idriss Saadi '

Idriss Saadi certainly got the crowd going and while nobody should get over excited, he does add something different.

Maybe soon we can start to see some subtle formation changes and a few options that really threaten teams.

If they do that and find some consistency heading towards Christmas, maybe, just maybe, some of the missing fans will be tempted back.

Annis, I think Witts is an excellent player, but he should be on the bench for the next game, and keep the same team that started against Reading

I think you are right ( and barring any injuries picked up on International duty ), will happen.

Saadi seems to tweak his hamstring a little after the game so he maybe a doubt - BUT going forward I would like to see him and Jones start upfront. I those 2 would work well together. Other than that keep the same side - I would like to see Kennedy get some game time.

Blake sitting on the fence as usual! I really don't know what he contributes to the debate.

Blake contributes nothing to the debate, I never bother to read anything he writes anymore

I think Saadi and Jones would be our best strike force.

I liked what I saw with Saadi but its early days yet. You could well be right on this.

I would never break a winning team, but Masons role must be in serious doubt.

I hope Saadi was ring rusty because his first touch was poor. Strange game to play him. The pitch was soaked, 30 mins left, hasn't played since Jan. Bit of a panic move by Slade IMO.

Whitts on the bench, a different game to Saturdays maybe a 5 man Malky midfield or Kennedy at the tip, I don't care as long as Mason is not starting.

Was Derby last year Whitts last goal ? Probably the last time he was in the opposition box.

Will Whitts be back, Id say yes.
Should he? no

We were so much better without Whitts.

In one game in terrible conditions.

We lose 3-0 next Saturday with the same team and there'll be the usual carnage on here :P

Ralls has to start again in the centre, keep whitts on the bench.

Slade needs to pick two wingers again and stop chucking Ralls or Whitts on the left wing, it doesnt work.

I would drop mason aswell.

We've been desperate for a fresh approach for an awfully long time. Saturday could be the catalyst for something a whole lot better from now on. Let's hope

Agreed. And Saadi needs a few more run outs before he proves himself a start

I would drop mason for whitts and play whitts in a number 10 or free rile behind jones. Whitts is no good in front of our centre backs

Well done Mugsy mate your new Antiques venture is helping you see some sense at last

Just saying it as I see it. Ralls had a good game ( as did Gunnarson ) - so the correct thing for Slade to do is to keep to the winning team. Mason needs to drop to the bench for a spell - but only when Saadi is fully fit. Whitts will be back very soon and will continue to be a very important player for Cardiff City.
