Incredible Adeyemi stat shows just how much midfielder wants Leeds place back

The 24-year-old Leeds loanee made a noteworthy late contribution during his side's 3-0 win over Huddersfield Town.
Leeds United midfielder Tom Adeyemi was by no means the star of the show as his side beat Huddersfield 3-0 in Saturday's Yorkshire derby.
He didn't even start and was brought on with around 20 minutes to go - at right-back.
But, in that short time, the Leeds man produced an incredible statistic, especially impressive as he was out of position.
Indeed, as Opta stats show, Adeyemi won three tackles in just 19 minutes in the right-back slot:
This was at a time when Leeds had the game completely wrapped up and when he could quite easily have been a passenger as the Whites simply saw the game out.
Instead, the midfielder took it upon himself to make an impression. No Leeds player won more tackles during the whole of the 90 minutes and the statistic signifies a real desire from the 24-year-old to win his starting place back.
Beyond the short term, Adeyemi's drive will also stand him in good stead when it comes to a permanent move to Elland Road. It will take more than three tackles to do that, of course, but his shift against Huddersfield is an encouraging one.

To be honest Annis I don't think he'd get in our midfield at the moment ahead of Dicko or Gunner.

He should be alongside Dicky and Gunnar but he had too much talent for Slade to put up with so would never get a chance.
