Leeds United want ex Man United Keeper

08/11/15

Steve Evans has gone on record as wanting to bring in another keeper to Elland Road as competition for current #1 Marco Silvestri. There were reports last week indicating that this could well be a Premier League keeper, with The Sun today indicating that this could well be West Brom’s Anders Lindegaard.

Lingaard, once of Manchester United, is currently the number two keeper on West Brom’s books, but it is thought that he could slip to third choice when currently injured Ben Foster returns to fitness. The Sun state that “United boss Steve Evans wants to bring goalie on a short-term deal and likes the ex-Manchester United stopper.”
