Whittingham in or out?

Sat Nov 07, 2015 7:07 pm

What a great result today against good opposition. Marshall really stood out today and i think we'll have to fight to hang on to him. The squad really played well and i'll be really surprised if Whittingham is allowed straight back into the squad that takes on Derby after the way they played today. Success to the bluebirds :bluescarf:

Almost certainly with Slade but he should have been out long ago. Remember Rotherham and what happened after?

Never change a winning team, but for Derby i would swap Gunnar for Mason and play Whitts

I'd swap Noone for Digkacoi and keep Whittingham firmly banned!

Id keep whitts as far away out of the team as possible if we want to stand any chance of promotion this season, my point proved today. Good servant to ccfc but his time has come and gone, ralls is the new man alongside someone who can put his foot in and break up play gunnar or dika

So you'd play Gunnarsson up front? Strange.

All his managers have played him in the advanced midfield or 10 role.

So you'd like to see us set up to play more defensively again by having Dikgacoi instaed of Noone? Strange.

A strong platform, not in the least bit strange, and against an attack minded team like Derby it makes good sense to dominate the midfield. We have sufficient creativity otherwise to make plenty of chances when we've thwarted Derby's attack and pushed them onto the back foot.

Put whitts back in with ralls, drop mason, Dikacoi holding midfield, Jones upfront and noone pilkington on the wings

No chance as that's a different formation to what uncle fester uses :old:
Plus do you really think mason deserves his place? I think he's shocking

I agree he didn't play well today but he has scored in important games this season. If Slade wasn't such an idiot to have given away Adeyemi and Doyle we would have had more options available to us. If it isn't working with Mason then Doyle and Jones would have been worth a try.

Agree, slade has loaned out the wrong players this season and in doing so limiting his options
