Slade on... His personal frustration

Friday 6th Nov 2015

By Steve Tucker

When games come thick and fast, we only have small windows to work on stuff.

The final ball, crosses, we are working on all sorts of things.

All the things we talk about and work on. We are probably missing that.

We know we are probably not in the top six because decision making in the final third was not as good as others.

I’m confident we will get back there because we have a structure and strategy.

We have lost our way a little bit.

It’s a blip, not a catastrophe, at this moment in time.

Slade on... The goal drought

Is this the longest run without a goal of your managerial career?

I don’t know. There’s been a lot of games in that period. So I’m not quite sure to be honest.

Once we get everyone fit and back that will add to the creativity and the ability to score a goal without doubt.

Then we will look at situation in January with what we need to do it even further strengthen that area.

You have to ask why are we not in top six.

The 'blip' started when Slade joined as manager and will end when he leaves. :)

The creativity will come back when our players come back from injury? He doesn't PLAY our creative players!

"Once we get everyone fit and back , it will add to our creativity". Is he bonkers or what, most of the injured are defenders so I doubt they will add much to the creativity and Macheda has never been a regular in the team. The guy is still diluded as he was last season. "Off with his head" :sladeout:

Need to play with more width and how about also shooting on sight as well instead of of just passing it backwards
