Did we get his twin instead?

I'll repeat what I've said many, many times.
We didn't give him a chance to show how good he could have been.
Brilliant contacts, well respected throughout football, has had some success and could have turned us around.
Slade has non of those qualities in my opinion.
No need to hit me with the amount of money he spent because Slade would spend the same if our owner really trusted him with some funds.
If we hadn't panicked after such a short period at the start of last season (when results really weren't that desperate) I think we'd have been playing much better football right now.

I agree with this 100%. I really enjoyed the football we were trying to play under him, and I don't doubt that he would've eventually turned us into a force in this division. Our defence turned to shit, and he would've needed to fix that, but from a footballing perspective he gave us a nicer style to watch than either Malky or Slade.
That said, I can't forgive him for how poor our fitness levels were last season. His approach of going everyone 45 minutes per game in pre-season screwed us over from day one, and was one reason he didn't get as many points on the board as he should've. That bloody Norwich game, we played some of our best football for over a year, yet conceded 4 goals in the second half cos the players were bloody dead already!
I'd take him over Slade. Easy.

If we kept him we'd probably be league 1 now. I don't care what he's doing at Molde, he failed for us big time.

He's only been in charge of one of those games they beat Celtic the other results were from the old manager,he's a clueless manager how ppl can say they enjoyed his style is really disturbing to think some of our fans will go mad at managers but enjoyed oles style??

Look he was pretty shit for us but that doesnt mean he's going to be shit everywhere. I think he's only ever been a shit for us. Everywhere else he had success. Personally i believe he had too much self confidence (arrogance?) going into the job. He literally tried to change us from park the bus tight defensive unit to attacking creative football midseason. A more experienced manager wouldn't have made major changes like that in the middle of a relegation fight. He should have just stuck with malkys boring defensive unit and then had a major squad overhaul and bought the creative players he needed in the summer. He wasn't cynical enough. That team was barely strong enough to survive with malkys tactics never mind trying to make them play attacking football.
That said i see him becoming a better manager than Slade in the future though. Hes still a very young manager.

I thought we were rid of these clueless Norwegian wankers when we sacked the clueless Norwegian wanker.

Defensively we were shocking under Solskjaer. No organisation whatsoever. The amount of chances teams created against us was so high, they were always going to take one or two of them against us. He spent a lot of money whilst he was with us too.
Good luck to him at Molde, it just simply didn't work for him down here.
