Still do not understand why our club won't consider this. This is an essential first step in the right direction for me. I miss the banter with away fans. I am sure the away fans visiting us would prefer this too.

Why not improve the atmosphere by making a bit if noise, not using the ground configuration as an excuse.

But, do the good folks who have spent their hard earned cash for their seats in the Canton and Family ends want to swop?

It works at other grounds, so until our club realises they should listen to the fans, I personally won't stop going on about it, there will be a great atmosphere at Derbys ground on Sat 21st Nov.
Some said the same about the Despicable Rebrand, Thankfully some of us never gave up![]()

Why would people not want to swap? If i was with my kids i would want to be far from away fans. If i was with my mates then i want to be closer so i can hear the away fans.

Canton stand is now more than half empty and getting less every game.
How about letting 116 and 117 sing in Ninian Stand

I've never been a fan of theirs or liked their club for their arrogance.
First of all £35 for Championship football is over priced.
But to be fair to their club, they let two ends of their ground, stand up for the whole of the match, even other sections stood up at different stages.
They have a worst reputation than us,yet their stewards never bothered us in the ground, in fact they just smiled and even laughed at some of our songs,we were allowed bottled tops on our drinks and the food was quality.
We were treated like human beings and left to cheer our team on and watch the match, even if though our football was dire
Leeds fans sang from just before kick off till after the final whistle. They sang some songs for 10 minute periods and the ground was buzzing, their main singers, about 1,500 were close to us and that to me helped create a good atmosphere.
Remember Leeds had not won at home since last March, off the field their club is in a mess, worse than us,yet their fans are still right behind their team,no matter how bad theyve been. Their stewards etc not once told any of their fans sit down or were seen ejecting them.
Our club should seriously start listening to our fans and lets make an atmosphere like them.![]()

I was a couple of rows behind you and your mates on Tuesday, Annis, and I agree with what you say. To be honest, I thought that the Leeds fans were terrific. They put all the off-field nonsense to one side, and got fully behind their team, from start to finish. We can learn a lesson from that. It obviously helped their players. The stewards were fine, as were the police. There weren't many of us, so it must have been an easy night for them. Hopefully, the current plans by our supporters club to improve the atmosphere at our home games can come up with something similar. There were only 17k at Elland Road on Tuesday night, but it sounded a lot more. We can be just as good, if not better. Leave the negativity behind once inside the ground, and get behind the players.

And the food was not quality - that pie was the worst I have seen at any ground in over 3 years!

I never heard a peep out of the home fans when I went to Everton with Cardiff.
