Tan won't sack slade

Thu Nov 05, 2015 10:13 am

He's Tans yes man and the man who is on peanuts compared to other Championship managers and the same man who Tan said is 'a good manager and the supporters need to give him a chance'.

The ONLY way he will go is if he resigns which lets be honest in this day and age in football no-one really resigns

Isn't Slade's contract up in the Summer? If so i doubt we will see the back of him until then, Tan won't pay compensation for sacking him when he can get shot of him for free with a "thanks for everything you've done and all the best " in the summer.

If gate receipts keep falling (which seems inevitable at the moment) then, as a business proposition, Tan will sack Slade.

I can't believe that Slade is not aware of the barrage of criticism he has faced this week (in particular). If he sets up defensively again and we lose, or its another bore draw then I can't see him avoiding the bullet.

Championship clubs need to bring in the crowds to be financially sustainable. This will influence Tan more than anything else.

I agree. The Colchester fa cup game last January proved that, & with record after record being broken for lower & lower crowds at the CCS, & in the Championship, then surely action will be taken, unless of course VT want to stamp Cardiff City FC firmly into the ground???

I agree about that Tan will act when the crowds decline even more and will sack Slade the boycott got the blue back why not this time Tan doesn't want to lose any more money which he is at the moment. :sladeout: :sladeout:

Slade is doing what Tan wants I guess. Slash the wage bill, piss us fans of with the style of football. Malky destroyed Malky because he crossed him, we the supporters crossed Tan and he is doing the same to us. Hmmmmm
