' Vincent Tan has made the call '

I've been told that Vincent Tan has contacted Dalman and Ken Choo today, to discuss the current situation with recent results.

Be interesting to see what comes of this, but my personal opinion is that nothing will come of this but I don't see them backing him in January unless they are in the top six.

Sounds about right. Doesn't deserve backing if we're not in the top 6 by then.

I wouldn't give Slade a penny when you look at his other signings and how often he plays them.

League position doesn't show a disaster... Yet, next 3 games could be a decider.

The best Slade can wish for is seeing out his contract, he won't be here next season. I think if they lose and don't score sat could be curtains

Needs to go now, not later to see if things improve, do it now while we don't fall further away. Recent performances have been nothing short of pathetic. Defensively good, but attacking, well, don't think there are many words to describe how bad it is.

Slade moans he's annoyed with our goal drought, yet the last few games he has change nothing to try and change it.

I think its somewhat positive that Tan appears to remember he owns a football club in Cardiff.

It's a decent defence but it's helped massively by the way we set :sladeout:

Yep, we come out to get a point no matter what! Understandable but it means you got to attack too! Our defence is so good because we've sacrificed everything we have in attack!

Nope I wouldn't either , signing O'Keefe who never plays , Tamas who hasn't played yet (but won't play once everyone else is fit ), Revell not good enough at this level, Saadi signed him injured , Kennedy actually a good signing but for some reason does not get anywhere near the first team now , Doyle sent out on loan , Ajaya sent out on loan (but signs Tamas) :sladeout:

Tan wont get rid of his puppet will he?

Slade should have gone last season, useless.

I know from a person close to the club that he has nothing about him. Does not even do the team talks ffs.
Out of his depth and should walk away.

Aslong as they don't leave it too late like in the prem. I think if he goes then it should be early December latest to give a new manager time to see the squad before he decides what he needs in the market

The play-off final this year is now worth £178m, just for being in the PL and factoring in instant relegation.

The reason VT is involved with us hasn't changed - it's to raise his and Berjaya's profile for other ventures including gambling rights and to build other football ventures similar to Peter Lim. The question now is does he mount a serious attempt to secure the £178m this season or is he still happy consolidating and then go again next season? Temper this with the fact the parachute payments end next year and that I believe would give an idea of VT/MD/KC's conversation on this call. Chris Ramsey exiting tonight and QPR only being 2 points behind will also no doubt be an influence plus the Tony Fernandez Malaysian factor. I also wonder how KC and MD are quantifying the record low attendances and what is being done to remedy that? My guess is that their simplistic answer would be that many fans will return once we are seriously challenging for PL promotion again. Whilst that's no doubt true, I don't think that there would be much of a conversation about what is being done to make fans passionate again about their club and create a fantastic win or lose atmosphere, no matter what the result.

My main concern at the moment is what exactly happens when the parachute payments stop and we still only have crowds of 13K?
