How many of us city fans got really excited when Brussel Spade was appointed?
I'd be surprised if the answer was one!
On the other hand many of us thought ... at least give the man a chance to sort out the mess that Ole had made.
Well in my view THE MAN HAS HAD HIS CHANCE
We're now over the magical 12 games in mark and we're not getting better, we're getting WORSE! I appreciate we've got injury problems but we're offering NOTHING going forward. I believe that is down to Slade and his poor team selection and tactics. I took one look at the team sheet tonight and my immediate thought was 'Leeds are going to break our run of good results against us'
I'm disappointed to have been proved right. Thanks Russell you PLANK.
My hope (but sadly under Tan unlikely to happen) is to get a forward thinking young manager who will get us to safety and then rebuild the midfield and attack. In my view we need to build around Ralls, Manga, Kennedy, Fabio, Digkacoi, Ameobi (yes, the lad's got great potential in the right set up), Malone and of course, Marshall. We need a decent goal threat and a much more positive, ENERGETIC and young midfield.
Over reaction? Probably, but I'm fed up with our downward slide under uncle Fester.
Adios please Russell & take Noone, Mason, Whitts, Gunnarson and Revell with you.
Oh and give Whitts a testimonial. He IS a city legend but now sadly past it.
