My my, we used to take more to Halifax back in division 4. Things are bad. I know it's a lot of cash to be treated like scum and abused but it's shocking away support. Sign of the times.

I asked and they said quite a few,but plenty of space if fans want to attend.

No more would of gone.

Spoke to Vince earlier,he is shocked and hurt by how bad our away support is nowadays.

222 went to Ipswich including 50 comps, which only 20 were actually used.

Vince was saying he took an average of 8 coaches away in the Premier League and even on night matches.
In the 80s & 90s when we were getting 1,500 -4,000 home gates, we we taking regularly 600 to places like Hartlepool on Saturdays and about 150 to Halifax/Rochdale on night games.

Totally agree, more would go away in Division 4, sadly we have lost a lot of the fans due Tan and his antics etc which have broken our club.

Modern football is not cheap anymore. With good revenue coming in, the clubs want to screw you further.

Shocking tactics and performances don't help.

Who wants to spend money on an outcome which will be poor, even if one is a die hard :sladeout:

Have a safe journey up and back and hope and I mean hope the players perform :old:

shocking turnout, thought we would have taken 3-400 minimum to this, you would think there would be 130 exiles there alone
that live up in the midlands/north, 222 to Ipswich was shocking aswell, you would have thought 100 of that would have been from London and the East.

I personally think Wales qualifying for the Euros has had an effect mind, how many people are skipping these matches and saving the £100 minimum it costs to go towards a trip to the South Of France next year? I for one am scaling back on away trips for this reason. Might sound like a cop out but I think there is some truth to it.

You also have to ask what the Club are doing to help, its games like this where the club should do something like offer free travel, personally if I was running a Football Club I would offer free travel for all midweek fixtures to the fans, It would have meant that today would have cost somebody £35 and a half day off work instead of £70+ and a half day off work. If we could have filled 8 coaches through the supporters club and other travel groups we could have taken 500+ and it would have cost the club what? £9-10k not even a weeks wages for most of our squad.

An absolute mess all round.

500 min should of gone tonight, Many 3rd and 4th Div clubs take more than us away nowadays
Yes Wales doing well does not help, but our away support last season was poor
The Club themselves are totally to blame for our bad support home and away support

People will always find money for the premiership. I remember paying over £50 for four away games on the trot, but can fans justify paying it for the championship?

Sign of the times (isn't that a Prince song?) I'm afraid.
Plymouth play Carlisle in the FA Cup on Sat,wonder how many will do that trip.

I'm def one if those who lost the will a few years ago. Weekends now spent with my 2 young boys. Did a few of our supporters clubs like 1927 disband over the rebrand? It's way too expensive for what you get aswell. The only reason we took so many in the premier league is because it was a new thing, like when we got promoted, I doubt the interest would be there again as many fans had a shocking experience.....

Swansea charge £22 to where ever, it's a good saving especially as some PL clubs charge near £60.
