Cardiff City defender Fabio out of action for up to six weeks following foot injury

Following the results of a scan, the club’s medical department have confirmed that the defender will be sidelined for between four to six weeks

Cardiff City defender Fabio will be out for at least a month after damaging ligaments in his right foot during the first half of the 0-0 draw with Ipswich Town on Saturday.

Following the results of a scan, the club’s medical department have confirmed that the defender will be sidelined for between four to six weeks.

The former Manchester United defender has been sent to hospital after fears he may have broken a bone in his foot in the Bluebirds draw at Ipswich.
