Three Premier League clubs are interested and in the running to sign Birmingham City winger Demarai Gray, according to a report by The Mail
It is believed that Tottenham Hotspur are currently leading the fight for Gray after scouts from the club watched the winger in midweek recently. However Everton and Leicester City are also expressing an interest.
Gray is understood to be happy at Birmingham and is pleased he is one of the first names on the team sheet, playing so many games. Newcastle United came in for Gray in the summer transfer window but he stayed at Birmingham. The winger has also just signed a new contract with the Championship club.
However Gray has a buy-out clause somewhere between £3.75 million and £5 million, which is believed to be tempting Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy. Tottenham recently signed another young English player, Dele Alli, for around the same price.

In today's transfer market, that seems like a very good price if true.

Agree, young English players go for far more than they should do. Like Zaha for example.
Even at 5 million he's got to be worth a punt surely!

I always liked the look of him so 5 mill is a decent price.
