We are not doing any worse than I expected so far IMO

Our current league position is about where I expected us to be or perhaps slightly lower. So all in all its been 'OK' so far. Not brilliant but not poor either - just average I'd say. I believe at our best we have the ability to break into the top 6 and at our worst may finish in 12th. Of course I want the team and slade to get promoted and wish we could just find a few more goals but as far as being really disappointed so far - I am not! Yes the football is boring at times but is also exciting at times when we demonstrate our potential ability! I remember the season that the jacks got promoted - they started off as nothing special, didn't seem to score many and didn't concede many either! They came good towards the end of the season.

There's a lot of room for improvement and there's no doubt about that but first and foremost we don't get relegated Into league 1! Secondly we stabilise following our relegation last year. We aim to finish as high up the table as possible and try and push for a promotion place. Perhaps a slim chance of actual promotion but I've always got the hope! The hope also can be a negative as it leads to disappointment if we don't achieve this. when we look back this will be a period in the clubs history of either good times or bad times depending on which way things go over the next few years. One thing is for sure though I'll always be a Cardiff city fan whether they are in the football pyramid and attend matches come what may! Tan or no tan, Slade or no Slade, premier league or no premier league!
