" WELL DONE CITY FANS/BUT ITS FRIGHTENING "

Well done to those 222 City fans that travelled to Ipswich :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

But it's frightening, our home support is at a low and now our away support is dropping drastically

Tan Out

Slade is just a puppet -tan calls the shots.
If he went we may get worse!?!
He's frustrating as f**k though.

How can you play 4 4 2 with a bench with no strikers???
(or a first 11 with no strikers come to think of it)

We need goals and end predictability.
Yawn.

I am sure Tan would get out if he could, but he is going to lose a lot of money.

Not sure what the answer is though....

All that travel - and it sounded like a yet another dull, boring drab effort from us.

The ship has been steadied so to speak - so now than Slade - why dont you try and some attacking football ?

I dont blame anyone for not wanting to spend their hard earned cash and time watching us, it is dire and the only reason I still go is because my son wants to go, and even he is getting bored of it.

I dont think we are alone. Look at alot of the teams who have gone up and come back down (bolton, blackburn, ipswich, brum etc...)

Since we moved from NP, we have been on the up an attracted a wod of extra fans - we peaked and now all those fans have just lost interest. We are back to where we were before in terms of fans.

Everyone sites Tan, Red ,stewards, crap football, atmosphere.....a series of excuses. Truth is, if were were top of the league offering season tickets deals, we'd start getting 20k again.

Look at Wales - check out the Wales attendances over last few years !! Now we got success, sell out crowds, alot going away and everyone loves Coleman.

City have had a few bad seasons in last 10 years - fans have turned their backs. Tan was there when we got promoted against charlton - we were in red that day, football was not great, same stewards were there. How was that a sell out then?

Credit to all at ipswich.

For some context, the League of Legends (an eSport video game) world championship match was yesterday, and the live stadium attendance was some 18,500 people, as well as half a million online. Just an interesting note to see where viewership lies for sports these days. RWC final was on top of course, which attracted millions of views across the world too.

Vinnys rebrand theory was spot on.... If the product is right it doesn't matter what peripheral issues surround you.

But Vinny, the product is shit. Boring championship football won't bring anyone but the devout back. Exciting championship football will add a few more, or more likely stop more leaving.......A genuine feel good factor with a real crack at the championship is the only way to get the crowds back.....

This season is a write off for me, no way are we top 6, so we need to stop deluding ourselves.

If it was man utd away none of the above would have mattered to city fans and they would of been there. Lets be honest here the excuses are running as thin as my hair line. I guess that's modern football though :laughing6:

I understand I get what you mean that but it wouldn't even be a comparison if we had been playing another like I mentioned. :bluescarf:

If there is a jewel in the Cardiff City crown then that jewel is the away support.

Whether its 222 or 2222 they are all hero's to me

Only just over 500 Cewnty at the Gas- That to me is poor away support, especially for a derby match! :bluebird:

Totally agree, but then County have never had great support,as most of their surroundings areas are Cardiff.

Funny though, when we were in the Prem, we had Arsenal, Man City and Man United away in January of all months and the most expensive away games, guess what we sold out and some tickets alone were £50 odd.

Also I rem in the 80's places like Hartlepool 600 round trips we took over 600 fans :thumbright: :ayatollah:

Let's be honest we are Championship and our support is abysmal, because of one man Vincent Tan who had ripped the heart of our club.

Agree re Tan  - he had made us a laughing stock! We have lost hundreds, maybe thousands of fans due to Tans management of the club. Boils my piss that due to his actions and lack of, our fan base in South Wales is shrinking, especially younger supporters, and the Scum's is growing.

Re Man U, Arsenal etc totally agree on that point. Maybe people are talking with their feet and would rather spend their Saturday afternoons spending their hard earned elsewhere. Know plenty of people who do! :bluebird:

Exactly, the fans are broken more than many realise, even winning games will not get them back that easy.
