You are very quiet about this, and before you start it was October for the rugby world cup all you can post is negative things about CWL and the welsh assembly

You know what, if you just typed in 'airport' into the search engine then you would see my answer when we spoke about it last month: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=162912&p=1719093&hilit=Airport#p1719093

Coped and pasted anyway:

I knew someone would attempt to pick me up on this the moment I heard about it so I thought I'd ask someone in the know before I stated my answer to this question and what he says he very similar to what my response would have originally been.

Firstly 10% isn't actually much of a increase when you take into consideration that 12 months ago there was no flybe so it was from a low base. However it is a start....

and also (this is the important point) the rolling year figure shows the airport is carrying the same number of passengers now as it was when the Welsh Government brought it. So as it stands there has been no increase of passengers even after all the WAG money on buying it, bank rolling it and giving it a rebrand.

I knew you could not read, it increased by 21%, not 10% you should have gone to specsavers

It's only to the same levels which it was when they brought it because it dropped big time after the brought it so absolutely NO INCREASE since the WAG brought it

Absolute rubbish, you just alter the facts to suit your agenda on the wag, I think they are looking for actors in the simpsons, Homers part is available :sleepy2:

Don't like the truth do you ? Check out the passenger numbers every year since they brought it and you will see a big drop after the purchase and now while it's on the up its only back up to the same numbers which it was at the time of purchase!!!

He also stated this in that article

He told BBC News, ministers were "absolutely right to take a very tough decision" to buy the airport in order to "stop the rot".
