Is it wrong that two high profile footballers feel the need that they have to come out in the national press that they are gay ?

I suppose it a big thing for them, and other gays, who want to come out, I guess it's because they are fed up living a lie

Maybe they want to get it out in the open before some ex sells their story to the press. Maybe they are coming to the end of their careers and have seen how well Alfie has done since coming out. Would rather the national press concentrate on ticket prices etc at matches than a players sexuality.
Then again if it was Jack player that would be funny as feck

agree I've said before in another thread that I have friends and family members who are gay and they don't go on about they are treated the same as everyone else , I really don't see how it's news worthy
