Based on what? You've actually seen him play other than YouTube? I'm just curious as to how you've got so much trust in this player as nobody else has actually seen this guy play before.

I hope he does do the business because we need someone to start banging them in. Im not having a go but you've said this on more than one occasion.

Given most of your past predictions, I wish you had said that you thought he was going to turn out to be a waste of space. I would have then been more hopeful that he may be an absolute cracker.

So I've asked a serious question and you come back with a silly childish answer, no wonder most people on here think you talk utter bollocks.

You were better off being honest and saying you know absolutely nothing about Idriss Saadi.

If he did turn out to be a diamond you would then boast that I told you so based on no evidence what so ever.

Are you partywithole in disguise?

:laughing6: OK look in all honesty I am hoping he turns out to be the answer we are looking for upfront and from what I have read about he sounds promising.

Well this is half the problem, everyone expect him to be the saviour and when he doesn't score he gets booed and jeered and his confidence is destroyed

Saadi & Sladei, the Dynamic Duo. Both from the lower leagues & both out to impress.

Re: Saadi

Sat Oct 31, 2015 8:57 am

he used to play in the French second tier :? , that is not enough to go on in regards to him tearing up defences here i'm afraid.

Also, wearing a red checkered shirt to your signing publicity shots was shocking stuff. Do details like this matter? to me, yes. Shows a complete disrigard for the club colours. Exactly why fans can't relate to the club like they used to

That Kodjia upfront for Bristol came from the french 2nd div aswell.

I doubt that.

Re: Saadi

I really hope he does well for us, but don't like the fact that if we are to go anywhere this season it is down to how he comes back from injury and if he can hit the ground running.

If he has little or no impact this season then we are going to struggle for goals all season and will struggle to keep pace with the rest of the play off hopefuls.

Not playing for so long, trying to settle in a different league and stepping up to the Championship from French division 2 makes me think we won't see too much of him this season.

Hope I'm wrong

So did Drogba and Sakho at West Ham, but lets all surmise hes rubbish just cos he hasn't been given the opportunity is it ? Hes got a better scoring record than both when they played at that level. Im hoping not saying he will be that good. Is that to hard to take in for some ?

Nonsense.

Re: Saadi

Based on your normal predictions Ryd, we can expect Saadi to turn out to be our worst ever striker. Did'nt you predict something like six consecutive wins from Bristol City onwards, and that Slade was a cert to take this club to the next level. I really hope you are right about Saadi, and may :sladein: be you are this time. I honestly have'nt a clue what he's like, and I definitely can't make a judgement on the bit I've seen on youtube. I remember Cornelius looked like a world beater on youtube, and look how he turned out. Still, a couple of wins and we'll be back in the play off places, and you can stick your Slade avatar back on your posts. ;)
