The youth-team product has been one of the success stories of Slade’s reign, showing a real maturity to his midfield game and having a real drive and tenacity to liven up Cardiff’s middle play.

He has worked well in the lopsided formation, covering the advances and defence soft spots of the full-back behind him, but it could work wonders to see him allowed to bring his dynamism to an out-and-out central role which could make the most of his seemingly natural understanding with Mason.

Totally agree completely wasted out on the wing doing this 'lopsided role' Get the lad in his best position and give ourselves a chance.

Brilliant player,loads of talent I don't think we need to rock the boat tho we have been doing well even if Monday night was boring

Ralls Linkup play with Fabio is good, always looking to play each other in, Witts just doesnt have the pace or attaching mentality to do the same. so if ralls gets a full 90 next match we will look a bit sharper.

He's the most 'complete' midfield player we have. I'd whack him in the middle too.

I hope he is fit for Sat.
