" GOALS GOALS GOALS "

Our last goal scored by a City player was against Brighton at the beginning of October when Joe Mason scored in the early stages.

We have since played Preston and we failed to score, we then got a 1-0 win against Middlesbrough by an own goal and then on Monday we failed to even get a shot on target let alone score against Bristol City.

Is it a massive issue that we need to be concerned about or is it a blip that will just become nothing to worry about as the season goes on ?

Carl, we are also the lowest scorers in the current top 10.

Which probably means we have conceded less than most in the top ten :sladein: :bluescarf: :bluebird:

it's been a problem for quite a while now and therefore it's more than a blip.

When was the last time we scored more than two goals in a game?

Rotherham away last season?

And how many times did we score more than two goals in a game last season?

It is not a blip we have nothing up front at the moment, Mason and Revell will never bang in many goals, both work hard but just not good enough together, atleast when Jones is back we will have more options but really we need a good goal scorer, like the spanish one we got shot of and scoring goals in Spain :ayatollah:

It's not like ole didn't try to address it! We had about 10 strikers on the books start of last year. Shame he couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery

We all know the defence is not the problem. The thread is about our lack of fire power.

None with real pace tho ,I think we are lacking that Chopra type player who will chase lost causes and run all day long

Joe Mason seems to jog along most of the game. Maybe we should embed one of the opposition centre backs to the edge of their box then Joe can have a field day. Never seen a forward take so long to come back onside. Perhaps we should call a time out so that he can get back onside. I like Joe but really gets to me how he ambles back!
