Peter Whittingham - game 400?

Tue Oct 27, 2015 3:06 pm

according to Wiki he had played a total of 385 matches for us - this was three games into the season.

So assuming the above is correct and he didnt feature in any cup matches then hes on 395. Meaning the home game against Burnley will be game number 400, providing he plays in them all.

He will only be the 8th player to pass this mark in the clubs history, and the first since Phil Dwyer did it in the early 80s (making him the first in my lifetime)

Wanted to put this out there a little early in case there was a more accurate account of this that someone keeps track of instead of wikipedia?

I read on another forum a while back someone said he was Cardiff's answer to the legendary Pirlo, I split my sides laughing.
Now don't get me wrong PW is a decent player buts that's about it. Decent at best. :ayatollah:

IN Mondays programme Whitts had a feature which said he was on 397 games so guessing 398 was Bristol, 399 will be Ipswich, so 400 will be Leeds away, with reading home being the next home game at 401..... He is a legend and still class Imo :ayatollah: And deserves a good reception at the reading game :bluescarf:
