He working is Asda is he ?

He done nothing on the pitch last night :sladeout: :sladeout: :sladeout:

He won most headers last night unfortunately Joe Mason thought they playing shadows so he was to near him to take advantage of any flick ons.

Most strikers are probably on way more than he is, admit he's limited but he's constantly made a scapegoat.

Against boro he won most headers, but not much else!

I didn't see him win many last night to be fair! He was bullied off the ball countless times! His awkward looking run was all I saw last night chasing around the pitch! He's not good enough in my opinion as a front man! Offers very little to the game! His touch and hold up play isn't good enough to be a target man!

Almost non-existent again. Works bloody hard but he can never get into a position to score.

First half he done well but did fade and as stated mason is nowhere near close enough for this partnership to work :ayatollah:

He should get an England call up soon.

Not really, he wins everything in the air but we need a bit more than that...

Another in a long line of City strikers who can't score goals.

A League 1 journeyman who is out of his depth.

Just like his manager.

If ameobi isn't fully fit still, then I wonder if he ever will be. Why should it take months to get fit enough to play 90 minutes?... And why don't we play him for 60/70 mins and bring revel on as a back up when he tires.

Re: Alex Revell

Ameobi shouldn't be played up front, he's a winger

Re: Alex Revell

revell shouldnt be played up front either

I'm pretty sure he has problems with breathing and therefore can't last a whole game.

Ameobi looked dangerous when he came on for noone. He was taking players on and put some lovely balls through. When pilks came on and he was shifted forward we lost that. He should be playing but he is more effective on the wing.

I had hoped we had come further than hit it to the big guy up front but it seems thats our primary tactic.

to be honest i would prefer a team of revells, we had the likes of mcnaughton, cowie, hudson, all 3 gave everything every game, i would prefer to have a team of hardworkers, then lazy players.

Then why the hell have we signed a player that can't play a full game? We're paying wages for someone who can't play more than 20 mins?

Wish that was true because he is a had working honest player, but he needs better service for his style of play which he will never get from our current team, at the moment all he is doing is winning a few headers which comes to nothing. :ayatollah:

I would take a few lower league lads over him. Lets rescue Welsh boy Ellis Harrison from Bristol Rovers.

Good to have as sub to come on when winning, he will chase everything. Other than that pointless

Probably the reason he's only on loan.

Yeah signed him on loan, still paying for him. Why loan a player that can't play a full game when you could get one who can This what I'm saying

Because he's a top player? He may not be able to play a whole game but at least he makes a bloody good impact

He works hard to be fair, and is quite deceptive in that he is worse than he actually looks.
