Matthew kennedy

Tue Oct 27, 2015 12:15 pm

Craig noone was for me, the most frustrating player to watch last night. Every single time he cuts inside early and plays a flat ball to the far post from the wrong angle or shoots and hits a player because he can't make another yard. Every time.

We have a player in kennedy that can hit the bi-line and get crosses in from dangerous angels like he did against forrest to set up Doyle last year. Someone harder to figure out.

For all his effort noone is a one trick pony and gets sussed out within five minutes. Where is kennedy!?

Totally out of favour, couldn't even get on in the cup. Strange not to have him on the bench.

Hopefully he goes out on loan and doesn't rot away.

noone doesnt warrant a place in team you are right he never delivers when in great positions, only once has he done it but thats no good to team over all! ladt night was prime example. :old:

Totally agree. I think he shouldn't have dyed his hair cos Noddy Slade obviously thinks he's not the same Kennedy we had last season!

Pilks seems to have gone slightly off the boil after a really good start to the season so noone has edged in. Hopefully pilks gets back in at ipswich

Gents I have to disagree for me Noone was the only one running at the Bristol defence in the first half. The issue is he has no target man to aim for in the box.

Everyone talking about this last Monday night again and for all the right reasons. I just wonder if he's out of favour because of the comments he made about the dressing room? I hope not, as I thought he was a stand-out player when we saw him.

He favourites people on twitter that say he should be starting.

He is right though.

He might have run at their defence , but they knew exactly what he was going to do (cut inside onto his left foot) every time , so he presented them with no problems as there was never any end product and he lost the ball nearly every time after such runs.

Yeah no one can fault his efforts, but hrs completely ineffective and has been for too long. Bristol wingers were hitting the bi line and putting balls across our 6 yards box that's what propper wingers will do for you

Try playing him on the left, then he will not have to cut inside to make a cross, he can just put the ball into the box with his left, not rocket science is it, down to management formations.

Ring slade up and tell him maybe he don't know this :laughing6:, your only as good as the players around you as they say so no amount of running from noone Monday night would have made any difference when there was nobody supporting him as the rest of the midfield consisted of three defensive central midfielders playing within the same five yards of grass. That's what it looked like to me :bluescarf:

Noone is quality at times, but he only bloody uses his left peg. Hence why when played on the right, he has to cut inside EVERY single time! He doesn't have great pace either, so can't go round the outside.
If you're going to play him, play him on the left. It doesn't help his cause when you have people like Mason running away from the ball, in front of him.

I'd have him over Noone right now.

I would like to give him a chance I think noone has lost it

Agree, the lack of support both overlapping and infront of him doesn't help his case.
