Russell Slade refuses to accept the Robins were more 'up for it' than his team

BY STEVE TUCKER

On a disappointing night for his team, Russell Slade accepts his side were below par but refuses to accept Bristol were more up for it

For me, Bristol looked Def more up for it.

the lad up front number 22 was fantastic, everyone around him was rubbish so he just started to try to do it all himself second half.

If only we had someone like that up front

Annis it just wasn't a derby game. Bristol obviously wanted it more.

Sorry but Slade will drive away fans with his so called style.

Was embarrassed it was on tv last night.

I don't think either side seemed that up for it. I think Bristol edged it though, just.

I'd say they just about edged it with 20 shots to our 9, especially as we did'nt get a single attempt on target. Even with my bluest tinted glasses on, I would say we were lucky not to get beaten by at least 2 goals last night, and could'nt have any complaints if we had lost by 3 or 4. After a performance like that, to get a point was a brilliant result.

All of that wouldn't matter if Ameobi scored that open goal from 4 yards out in the 90th minute. All ifs and buts. Bristol hardly hammered us like you're making out. They had two really good chances and we had one. Just watch the highlights, there's not much to show.

If Slade cant motivate the team for a derby like this, he should go back to the lower leagues ehe belongs

Jonathan Kodjia. He's the lad they signed from the French 2nd division. Let's hope Saadi will turn out the same. :thumbright:
