Why should I?

Tue Oct 27, 2015 7:37 am

I have posted here before stating that for the last 30yrs I have stood or sat on the terrace supporting City and due to a possible loss of work for the first time this year I did not renew my season ticket. This thankfully has been resolved so I was looking forward to taking a 1/2 year ticket at Xmas. After watching the match last night on tv could you please give me reasons why I should waste my money on what is fundamentally an entertainment business supporting a team playing dire football. A thought which in reality would never have entered my head up to 6 months ago. :old:

Its up to you and how much you want to support hour club? I had plenty reasons to miss game Last night but I didn't, yes it was awful display but I will still be going in future, its in the blood but will probably give me heart attack with the stress and frustration! And to all those bleating about not going blah blah blah watching city is in blood you either love it or you don't!

Why didn't you post this under Malky when the football was just as bad, or was it because we were winning every game it didn't matter?

Football supporters want to be pampered these days. It's a hobby, an interest. It's been nothing more than that even before Slade or Tan were here. It's like paying to go to the cinema, you may choose a bad film, which in football terms is a bad game. But you still go anyway as it may be a hobby.

But it's different now, because before you could go down and have a good crack with the boys/get into the away fans give them shit. Now all that's gone the only thing left is the football.

Did you go when Malky was manager?

If so its about winning not the entertainment. That's fine by the way but people want winning football.
