Sammy ameobi

What's this all about please? A professional footballer who's been with us a few months and more yet doesn't play more than 25 minutes. If it is be to believed he can't do more than 30 minutes, for whatever reason what a joke. What use is that to us? He will have his cameo role and win us a few like he should have last night but when you sign a premiership player or any player for that matter you would expect them to actually be able to play 90 minutes because unbelievably that's the time a match is and is a requirement. Mental. :bluescarf:

Wez, he's as fit as he can ever be, it's either his asthma or Slade's way of playing him.

Its nothing to do with slade this Annis ,he made one big run and he was fucked last night ,I seriously think he's got health problems maybe that's why he hasn't made it at Newcastle

There is no way a professional athlete shouldn't be fit at this point in the season, he's had months. And if his health is a problem we should never have signed him.

If he has health problems then it is understandable that he is being used as an impact player. I want Slade to harness his ability to change games just like he did vs. Wolves.

He is either our Ace or Joker so Slade needs to get the boys head right before he enters the field of play.

I was watching him when he came on as a sub Monday, he looked absolutley knackered after 5 minutes! Makes an impact though.

His fitness is a worry, but more for me, is that he spurned an absolute sitter near the end. No running required, just a bit of boot skill to bury it. In fact, it was quite a feat to miss the damn thing!! Trouble is with strikers, they need game time to settle in sometimes, but if he's suffering from chronic issues (asthma etc???), he will never get that.

Always knew he would turn out as a flop. There was something really strange about his signing

Far from it.

He has been one of our biggest threats and hes a sub.

If he could play for longer we would have one of the best players in the championship.

The wasn't signed to be a sub ffs

Either way he was a cheap option that is a impact as a sub.

If Slade had the team playing well he would be a good signing.

He's got skill and pace. We needed to score early v Brizzle to dent their confidence. I'd have played him from the start and then subbed him when knackered (after 20 mins?).

I think he has the wow factor makes things happen, what I am failing to understand is why as pointed out and which is blatantly obvious he looks knackered and hasn't been out injured is a young lad, you don't sign a player to be an impact substitute and neither would he have thought this coming here. If he doesn't make it here, he will fall down the footballing ladder. If he has health issues, sadly that would mean an end to his career as a minimum requirement is that you are fit.

The sitter he missed, that happens although why not use ur right foot.

Brilliant idea that. Use up one our three substitute spots after 20 minutes. Crikey.

Haha have to agree. One of the most ridiculous suggestions I've ever heard!

Strange signing really, doesn't seem to fit into our 4-4-2 and I don't see that changing.

Had plenty of chances to play him upfront or wide in recent weeks but instead has moved people about.

Equally as ridiculous as signing a player who can't play for more than 20 mins
