First of all, living in North Wales I only get to a handful of games so I watched on Sky tonight. But (like all City fans)I am entitled to an opinion (used to go every week and have supported City for 50 years).
Who were the best team?
Bristol City by a mile
Who played worst for Cardiff?
Whittingham - little effort and ineffective
As compared with Ravell who put in more effort but was ineffective.
Who was the best player? Marshall followed by all the defence (except Fabio who struggled first half with little very help from Whittingham).
Do Cardiff have a realistic chance of promotion? (While you cant judge a season by one game and you want to believe etc )
The truth is NO CHANCE - except Marshall and maybe Ralls (and Manga when fit and playing) the rest of the players are not good enough. Although most players do give it their best.
Level of entertainment and performance?
Dire.In the first half we didnt put more than 3 passes together. No discernable style of play. As they said on the radio.....Cardiff have been grinding out some results, but this is just a grind.
Opinion of the manager?
Russell Slade (Trollope) the only real positive is that he (they)seem to have made us harder to beat and itseems team spirit is better.
Can he take us further?
I dont think so.....but, as Ive said before, Ihope he proves me wrong.
